One of Let’s Rage’s favorite ragers has got to be Reid Speed! Why? Not only has Reid Speed been a dancefloor destroyer for over a decade, she is recognized worldwide for her skillful ability to throw down all genres of bass music in transcendental manner. Since 2001 she has released a consistent stream of well received mix compilations and a slew of well charting original and group productions and remixes of many genres: drum & bass, 2 step, breaks, fidget house, electro, dubstep and even moombahcore. She is now most known for helming the Play Me Records and Play Me Too brands!

BASS BASS BASS! Obviously because I adore bass!
What current projects are you working on?
Besides continually running Play Me and Play Me Too, I just finished a new EP with FS that will be out this summer, and a remix for Missil feat. MOP out June 10th on Play Me.
What’s your favorite way to rage?
A blunt in hand, friends by my side, and a great DJ on the decks!
Where/Whats your favorite you have ever played and why?
My favorite show of all time was probably WEMF in 2005, I played before mixmaster mike and he ended up being late, so I kept playing for a long time to a huge, extremely receptive crowd. unbelievable energy!
What was your most recent tour and the most memorable moment?Most recent tour was our Play Me Bass Monster Tour with FS & Cyberoptics. The most memorable moment of the tour was probably when Fred & I crowd surfed in Baltimore, I got passed around the whole venue, was scary but so much fun.
Where can your fans see you next?I’ll be in Knoxville and Cleveland this weekend, then took some time off to finish a bunch of new music. Then Houston June 2nd, and finally Play Me Thursdays starts at Ecco in Hollywood on June 7th. We will have special guests every week, and I’ll be doing an extra special tag set with Fe-Fei on June 14th.
