Let’s Rage March tour was a month of pure chaos, awesomeness, and madness! The team consisted of Jay Johnston, Mastro, Blake Cordeiro, Tom Cat Rage, Cindy Le and Mike Krilivsky.
SXSW, Lose Control 5, South by So What, Never Say Never, and Houston We Have a Problem (HWHAP), WMC, Miami Music Week, Mekka, SMOG vs BASSHEAD, and Ultra Music Festival were insane! We met tons of amazing people, had many crazy nights, and would like to share some of the action with YOU!
Firstly, Team Let’s Rage and Throwed teamed up with Johan to make the most badass party on 6th Street during SXSW called LOSE CONTROL 5. Johan and Pure Nightclub in Austin definitely blew us away! Three floors of some of the best EDM, that included artists such as The Crystal Method, Le Castle Vania, and TBMA (The Bolivian Marching Affair.) The venue was packed every night. So packed, in fact, there was a giant line of people waiting to get in, and fire code enforcers were up our collective butts trying to shut us down, hahaha! (They did not succeed, the power of RAGING superseded!)
We also met up with some good East Coast friends like Steph Hallet of Steph is Dead, Joey Fisher and Kyle Meagher of TBMA, Benny Santoro, Joe Occuiti, Mr. Chark, Mike Abuiso and Chris Constantino of The Venetia Fair, John from Proper Villains and more!
Half of the team went to Never Say Never Festival in Mission, TX, and on our way back, Mike found us a place to stay. He claimed he met a girl who had an open college common room where we could crash. We got to the crash pad at 4:30am, pretty damn tired and delirious, and we were greeted by a half-naked, giggling girl. Apparently, there was a huge rager in the common room that night, complete with flipped-over coaches, empty beer bottles everywhere, and a distinct smell that none of us could really figure out. We flipped over the couches, picked out our spots, and cut holes into the couches to hide our personal belongings. We took turns sleeping, in fear that the weird smell in the room would attract random college bros, ready to beat down a bunch a dudes wearing Rocket Cat t-shirts and Blackout Belts.
Next, we raged back to SXSW to party with the Lose Control Team for another couple days, where it got more and more packed each night! If you’ve never been to SXSW, let us tell you, it’s something you need to try at least once… ok, maybe twice! Rage in bar-after-bar, and club-after -club, and experience every type of music possible. The events go from 12pm until 2am, with a few even open until 4am! Some featured free food, free alcoholic beverages, or free admission. Meanwhile, LOSE CONTROL 5 was all free! Just show up and Rage!
Our last round of Texas Adventures concluded with South by So What and Houston We Have a Problem. If you want the top metal and screamo acts in the world, this was the right spot for some action! Mike Ziemer of 6 String Productions did an AMAZING job with South By So What! Four stages featured All That Remains, Of Mice & Men, Escape the Fate, Breathe Carolina, The Ready Set, Chiodos, Forever the Sickest Kids, Enter Shikari, Confide, Norma Jean, Oh, Sleeper, Ice Nine Kills, and more. They gave Dallas something to talk about!
We made a lot of great friends At Houston We Have a Problem. Tom Cat of Let’s Rage interviewed Cory Brandan of Norma Jean, who rocked our Jack Nicholson Shining shirt and our Music Saved My Life Shirt. We got a few photos of Tyler March from CTC (Capture The Crown) with our Let’s Fucking Rage shirt, Richie Newman of Buried in Verona in the Shining shirt, and @markolio of Betraying the Martyrs showed off the awesome Cat Cobain All Over Print Kitty shirt.
Next, we headed to Miami!
We made a pit stop at District Lines in Winter Park, and picked up about two thousand pieces of Let’s Rage merch that we barely squeezed in our van. We literally had Kitty Glitter stickers in every orifice of our bodies!
Because we arrived in Miami a night early, we checked out Mekka, one of the clubs we were going to be vending at later in the week. Mekka was a seven-room maze, with an event going on that night called Techno Sluts. The club’s manager, Danny, set up a booth for us at the event next to the “dungeon room.” We didn’t realize it was a full-fledged sex dungeon until people started showing up in leather costumes, chains and all. Out of curiosity, our brave boy Blake went in the dungeon room and witnessed a girl being whipped by an old dude, who had a side-job selling whips and chains at the event. As we say, get in where you fit in, so Cindy Le started pulling a rope attached to old dude’s dick and walked him around like a poor little puppy dog! We realized this was no normal rave (too much old man dick), and it was more of a sex show than a dance party. As we made a quick retreat into the night, another older gentleman wearing nothing but a leather thong and a leash wished us safe travels.
Mekka wasn’t all whips and chains, thankfully; we met Miami Beat Wave, awesome guys rocking our Music Saved My Life shirt and Zombie Lesbian Kiss shirt.
Another highlight of the trip: Rage Baby went for a swim at Blake’s grandparent’s house.
Eric Dubnoff took some great pictures of our shenanigans, and will be launching some video recaps shortly.
That about raps up our month long tour! We are looking forward to an exciting and crazy summer!

We just finished our photo shoot with some Rage Girls and friends and will be releasing pics throughout the next week. The Rage Girls were wild and our photo shoot with mastermind photographer Kenneth So went amazing! We will be releasing 1 photo album per day on Rage Girls and then the group shots, dude shots, and entire batch of Rage Girl photos, well almost all of them, to Let’s Rage Facebook once we are finished with the personal albums! The “too risque for Facebook photos” will end up on our Tumblr.
Eric Dubnoff was shooting a behind the scenes video with us and this will also be release very soon on the official Let’s Rage YouTube.
Give our friends some love with comments and likes!
