Famous Fridays: Chris From Hot Pink Delorean (HPD)
December 9th, 2011 by letsrage
The guys from Hot Pink Delorean (HPD) and Terravita are our HOMEBOYS so we are proud to present Chris from HPD/ Terravita rocking our Sex Drugs and Dubstep T shirt…Drumroll please bitches….
For your reading pleasure, here is what Chris had to say about what he’s up to:
What Let’s Rage shirt do you wear and why?
SEX DRUGS & DUBSTEP ….I think the shirt lists the reasons why I wear it.
What current projects are you working on?
For Hot Pink Delorean we have a 19 track LP called “The Revenge of Sisyphus” releasing on January 10th on Beatport and January 24th on Itunes. For Terravita we just got done doing remixes for Yelawolf, Zedd, Datsik & Steve Aoki.
Whats your favorite way to rage?
My favourite way to rage is anyway that I can while on stage with either HPD or Terravita, so long as the music is loud and the crowd is hype.
Where/Whats your favorite show you have ever played and why?
Our first Hot Pink Delorean gig in Europe was amazing. It was 3 or 4 years ago in Stockholm. The party was called Konstig Klubb (which translates to weird party). All of the Swedish people were basically naked and black out drunk by the end of the party even though half the event was outside and it was snowing. Saying Sweden knows how to rage may be an understatement. They may have invented rage.
What was your most recent tour and the most memorable moment
Our most recent tour was the first phase of our Hot Pink Delorean LP release tour. To be honest I dont remember much of it, but the most memorable events would have to be Avalon in LA, Webster Hall in NYC and the Houston gig with Kaos. Most of what I remember on the tour is the airport when I land in the next city after a nap.
Where can your fans see you next?
We have more dates on our Hot Pink Delorean LP release tour coming up in early 2012. Also, as Terravita we are on tour with Steve Aoki & Datsik at the end of January and beginning of February.

Famous Fridays: Dana Tarr
December 3rd, 2011 by letsrage
Ok ok ok… So we raged too hard yesterday and didn’t get up our Famous Fridays blog until today
Sorry for Partying! lol
Anyway… So we met this photographer on a male for male fetish site that wanted artistic nudes of Let’s Rage! male employees and…
J/K!!!! Lol Dana Tarr is fucking amazing! Sophia and I were blown away the first minute we saw his work and because of his weird / “out-there” style, we thought this guy had a part of our brain!… it was like the eccentric / creative aspect of Let’s Rage! but in a photography sense… Totally a match made in heaven and therefore we called him up right away and said Dana, “will you do a shoot for Let’s Rage! ?
“- he was like “yo, yo yo yo, home girls… I’m down!!!” He was so humble and awesome that things clicked immediately!
Check out our interview with this guy, picture of him and links to his work!
Also, prepare yourself for our photo shoot pictures with him very soon!
Q: What Let’s Rage shirt do you wear and why?
A: I actually rock a few different shirts from their line, my favorite may have to be the “R.A.G.E. because kids and drugs and stuff” because I love the DARE parody, the simplicity of the design is great and the statement is hilarious! I instantly get an image of a strung out “party girl” explaining why she loves to rage. Haha! I also think the zombie girls making out is hot and the Jack Nicholson shirt is rad.
Q: What current projects are you working on?
A: I am currently working on a bunch of different projects including working with super producer, TV and radio personality and not to mention recent Grammy nominee for his work on Gaga’s new album, Clinton Sparks. I am the “Get Familiar Media” photographer and I do all of Clinton’s publicity photography as well as his album covers, including the cover of his upcoming release on Interscope records. I have also a Director of Photography credit in a Clinton Sparks/Disco Fries music video for “Killer”. Aside celebrities, I work with tons of local bands, recording studios, models and event planners! I spent a portion of this summer working closely with design team for Jay-Z’s clothing company Artful Dodger covering their events. I am currently networking with loads of other emerging brands and boutiques including Let’s Rage!, Bosque, Lola’s Urban Vintage in Allston, Modus Collection…as well as seeking publication and getting more into video!
Q: Whats your favorite way to rage?
A: Until eight in the morning.
Q: Where/Whats your favorite show you have ever played and why?
A: The craziest show I ever got to shoot at was Summer Jam and the Kiss Concert in 2010. I was hired by clear channel to photograph all of hip hop and top pop artists who performed, for the radio stations website. Myself and my two assistants, (Connell Burke and Ben Gebo) Had full VIP and backstage access to the two shows at the Comcast Center where we got to hang out and photograph celebrities including Ludacris Nikki Minaj and Drake!
Q: What was your most recent tour and the most memorable moment?
A: My most recent trip was to Colorado to do some amazing fashion work with one of my favorite designers and stylists JChan Designs (look her up on Facebook), however, the most memorable moment was at Summer Jam when I got on stage in front of a sold out crowd during Clinton Sparks and Drakes performance. The next best thing to performing on stage is being on stage as a photographic hype man!
Q: Where can your fans see you next?
A: I plan on being all over the country really soon! You can currently see my work on ads on the MBTA to the walls of the Palms hotel in Vegas. I have an upcoming publication in GAUNT magazine featuring the avant-garde, performance art antics of [:theviennagram:]] and plan on hitting up the major markets of NYC and L.A within the next months for additional publications! I looking forward to showing work in more galleries across the country from Boston to Boulder to Los Angeles and possibly start thinking about a coffee table book…Stay tuned, there is much more to come!!!
Thank you Dana for the amazing interview and your current work with Let’s Rage!, can’t wait till we get these photos done!
